18 months

Emma went in on Friday for her 18 month check-up.
She now weight 19 pounds and 11 ounces.
She is also 31 inches tall.
Her vocabulary appears to be a little advanced.
She is able to say and point to most of her body parts.
She is still in physical therapy once a month. She continues to favor one side of her body and will list a bit to one side when running.
This week she gave up her mimi(paci) and only gets it at nap and bed time. She is doing very well with this weaning process.
She is moving to a twin bed today. She NEVER sleeps in her crib and loves to fall asleep with someone in our bed. We are hoping she will like her twin bed.
She loves chocolate milk and is a pretty good eater thanks to the prevacid.
Most of all she is one little crazy daredevil of a toddler.
We quit taking bear pictures every month and now take them every 6 months. It amazing how much she has changed over the last year and a half.

My new favorite picture of them

Last year in their Redskins gear

Daddy's girls in their Redskins gear. Not the best picture, but Emma doesn't exactly sit still.

Trying to get a picture of the two of them together. This was the best I could get.

Catching Up

It has been a long time since I posted so I am going to play catch up and post some pictures today.
Highlights of big happenings for the Mazingo Family:
*Jason got a job!!! It is not a teaching position, but it hopefully will get his foot in the door. He is currently working at the high school in the county as a special education instructional assistant.
* Cloey had a beautiful progress report which contained a 95 or better in each subject. If she gets all As for her report card we are taking a trip to Chuck E. Cheese.
* Emma has a rough week a few weeks back. It started when she woke up in the middle of the night with projectile vomit and couldn't be consoled. Since she had fallen a few days before we headed to the ER just to make sure she hadsn't reherniated. The x-ray looked good, but we found out she had a pretty nasty ear infection. We were in the ER from about 2am-6:30am and then had to take her to the peds at 8:15am just to get a second look. Needless to say the ear infection gave her quite a fit and we ended up at the doctor's office about 6 times and the hospital once for labwork. She switched meds a ton of times and got two shots of meds and she ended up with a ruptured ear drum in the end. It did finally clear up and she is on the mend.
* I have been working and just started working the after-school program two days a week for a little extra money.
